Welcome!! All are invited to join us as we celebrate the Camino - and our first time Camino walkers - at our annual Shell Ceremony & Potluck! This is an opportunity to meet with others who have walked this path before you and be a part of our vibrant and welcoming Sacramento Camino community! This is a free event and open to all interested in the Camino! The night will be filled with camaraderie and community, good food and good friends - including those whom you have not yet met! Those of you who are walking your very first Camino - this night will be a special night for you! One highlight of the evening will be gifting you your own scallop shell - the symbol of all those walking the Camino to Santiago de Compostela.
Whether you walked previously and wish to reconnect with fellow pilgrims, recently walked and wish to share the celebration of your journey, or you are hoping to walk sometime in the future and wish to be inspired by those who have walked before you ... Come celebrate the Camino spirit together with us!

**Food**
We know that there is some stellar cooking talent among our local group. Let's pull out the pots and pans, spices and herbs and see what can be concocted to share with the group. It can be savory or sweet, cold or hot (we will have a table for crock pots), appetizers, salads, main course or dessert - you decide! Somehow it always works out that we have just the right balance of everything we need! If cooking isn't really your thing, that's okay! Purchase something extra tasty to share with the group! If our previous gatherings are any indication, no one will go away hungry!! Also, feel free to bring a drink to share with the community!
We will provide plates, eating utensils, cups, napkins, etc. Please bring serving utensils, if needed, for the dish that you make or purchase.
