GO Flags Credit Interest Form

As described on our website, all students enrolled in the GOHS Band & Guard program are asked to complete two GO Flag shifts over the course of every school year.  The GO Flags program and its proceeds is the single major source of fundraising for the Band & Guard and this program would not exist without the support of our students and their families.

What is a GO Flags credit?

  • A GO Flags credit is a $50 discount that will be applied to your CHARMS account.

  • If you request a credit, it will automatically be applied towards 2024 banquet ticket costs if you order tickets (1 credit = 1 ticket), but you must fill out this form.

  • If not used for banquet, it will be rolled over and applied to next year's Fairshare

  • If your student is graduating AND not attending banquet, please fill out the form to indicate how you would like the credit processed should you want one.

Do you have to claim a credit?

No! Many of our families volunteer because they recognize the importance of this program to the success of our Band/Guard program and choose not to claim their credit.  We thank you for your generosity!

You can claim a credit if:

  • You have completed two GO Flags shifts IN FULL

    • A full shift includes both delivery and the retrieval of a flag route

    • Your GOHSBBA/CHARMS account is current (Fairshare/Winter Guard Fees paid in full or otherwise waived for the 2023-2024 school year)  

    • NOTE: We will be allowing credit for the 2023-2024 school year for shifts worked Memorial Day 2023 through President's Day 2024, allowing Seniors to get their credits before graduating.

Can I Claim More than One Credit?

  • Students who volunteer for more than 2 full shifts (both delivery and retrieval) cannot request additional credits.  

  • Students from families with >1 Band/Guard student cannot claim multiple credits unless they worked enough shifts to cover the 2 shift/student criteria for EACH student (i.e. 4 shifts for 2 Band/Guard students).

How do I Claim a Credit?

  • Fill out the form below completely and accurately (form closes May 15th, 2024 to allow processing of credits before CHARMS' rollover on June 1st).

  • Boosters reserves the right to deny any credits claimed for shifts that were not assigned to the student claiming them (based on SignUp Genius archives) or for shifts that the student did not complete in full (i.e. delivered the flags but was unable/unwilling to retrieve them the following week). 

  • We will reach out to you if we cannot find proof that these shifts were completed as described in your responses below.
