In teams of 2-5 people, submit a proposal for your final project. We recommend first answering these questions in a separate document, and then copying your answers into this form.

Succinctly state the substantive scientific question you seek to address.
Potential impact *
Describe the value of addressing your proposed question.
Literature review *
Describe previous work related to your research question, including findings from academic papers and books (Google Scholar is a good source) and/or discussions in the popular media.
Methodology *
Describe your general statistical strategy for answering the research question.
Data sources *
Describe specific data sources you plan to use to carry out the research.
Project timeline *
Outline a tentative schedule for completing the project, and list the specific duties of each team member.
Potential hurdles *
Describe problems that might arise, and your plan for dealing with them.
Optional: preliminary results
Briefly summarize the results of any preliminary analysis you may have done.
