1. Indemnity
Please note that Kenshikai Karate and its instructors will not be held liable and/or responsible for any loss, injury, damages, death, and/or compensation of whatsoever nature and howsoever arising as a result thereof, irrespective of whatever negligence exists on the part of Kenshikai Karate and its instructors or any member, employee or third party, whether gross or otherwise.
2. Undertaking to Pay
2.1. Payment of fees will be due and payable by the first lesson of every term/year depending on which option I have selected. I also confirm that the compulsory annual affiliation fee will be paid in full with the first payment.
2.2. I confirm that the I will be liable for the full payment of fees whether the student attends classes or not.
2.3.1(one) months written notice is required for termination of this agreement. 2.4 I am aware that until such a time as 1 (one) months written notice is received, I will be liable for full payment. Non-attendance of class does not constitute written notice.
2.4. Students will not be allowed to attend karate classes if any portion of fees are outstanding for 2 (two) or more months.
2.5. I may not escape my payment obligation in terms of this agreement due to lessons not being able to take place due to the occurrence of a supervening event that may arise which is beyond the reasonable control of either party.
2.6. I am aware that fees and payments are NON-REFUNDABLE.
3. Program Details
3.1 All lessons will be +- 45 minutes long, once a week.
3.2 Karate Lessons at all training venues do not operate during the school holidays, however fees are still due and payable for the periods during the school holidays, including the fees for December.
3.3 Belt Promotions and tournament invites will be presented to students during the course of the year. These are extra events and may come at an additional cost. Belt promotions and tournaments are however not compulsory
