As part of the Napa Valley Black History Month Celebration, Rainbow Action Network and People B4 Policy is putting together 35 kits for children 0-5 years old to make a tile that will later be incorporated into a tile mural in the Community. If you sign up, you will receive all the materials you need (tile, paint, brushes, glaze, and instructions) to participate. Please sign up by February 22nd and the first 35 to sign up will receive a kit.
En parte de la Celebración del Mes de la Historia Afroamericana del Valle de Napa, Rainbow Action Network y People B4 Policy están reuniendo 35 kits para niños de 0 a 5 años para hacer un azulejo que luego se incorporará a un mural de azulejo en la Comunidad. Si te registras, recibirás todos los materiales que necesitas (azulejo, pintura, pinceles, esmaltes y instrucciones) para participar. Regístrese antes del 22 de febrero y los primeros 35 en registrarse recibirán un kit.
To participate,
Step 1:
Find a word that inspires you from the enclosed list (e.g., freedom, soul, strength, justice) with definitions.
Step 2:
Create artwork on the provided tile inspired by the word you chose. The artwork could be a design, a reaction to the word, or a visual representation of the word.
Step 3:
Return your decorated tile to First 5 Napa County. We will fire the tiles and use them to create a permanent art installation in our community.
