Come join us!
Wednesday, April 17th
Location: Zoom - https://asu.zoom.us/j/7304565472
Time: 1- 3 pm Pacific Time
This event is sponsored by the Cox Connected Environments Collaboratory at ASU.
- "The Collaboratory" is a partnership between Cox
Communications and Arizona State University. Our mission is leveraging
the capabilities and resources of our partnership to drive technology and
innovation toward positive community impact. We engage with ASU faculty,
student body, community and industry leaders, governmental leaders, and other
stakeholders around problems they, and often the community at large may be
facing. We then explore opportunities to assist in working toward
developing solutions.
One of the pilots we have funded is the piloting of a
Neutral Host network at the University Services Building in Tempe.
- A neutral host is a company that invests in
telecommunications infrastructure and rents out the infrastructure to multiple
service providers. Examples of this shared infrastructure include cell phone
towers, real estate and fiber-optic networks.
Excited and enthusiastic to share their knowledge, members of Cox Private Networks and InfiniG will be leading this presentation / workshop surrounding neutral host
technology and private networking to help students become well versed in this ever changing technological environment.
