STS Research Committee 2024 Lightning Talks Proposals
The Research Committee of the ACRL Science and Technology Section (STS) will host a session of lightening talks in 2024 to share our colleagues' work on the topic of science and technology librarianship. This year's virtual session will be:

Lightning Talks – Thursday April 26, 2024

The Lightning Talks will be a showcase for 7-minute presentations on research endeavors or practitioner projects.

Submissions will be reviewed anonymously and selected based on the quality of the submission and the demonstration of progress on the research project. This includes: brief background information about your project, the research question or problem that drove your project, the methods used, your findings, a brief discussion that includes the impact of your project, and a brief description of any equity, diversity, or inclusion considerations in your work.

The deadline for submissions has been extended to March 29, 2024

Abstract (no more than 250 words) *
The abstract should include brief background information about your project with special emphasis on the research question or problem, include a brief description of the methods used, and a discussion of the findings of your research, including the impact of this project. Abstracts will be reviewed anonymously; we strongly encourage you to remove any identifying information prior to submission, otherwise this information will be removed by STS Research Committee Co-Chairs.
Please describe any equity, diversity, or inclusion considerations in your work.
Please add three to five keywords or tags to describe your research (e.g. instruction, data management, scholarly metrics, qualitative research)
