TGIJP Legal Mail
Please join the Transgender, Gender Variant, and Intersex Justice Project, OutLaw and the Stanford Prison Abolition and Resources Coalition (SPARC) to answer legal mail and provide legal assistance to incarcerated trans people. This event will count towards pro bono hours under the Transgender, Gender Variant, and Intersex Pro Bono project, and all members of the Stanford community are welcome!!

The event will take place in-person at Stanford Law School (room 230) on Saturday October 14, 11am-1pm, with lunch after. We ask that you arrive on time! A partner attorney at TGIJP will be guiding us through the training, and then we will respond to legal mail after. If you can only attend a later part, we're also happy to send the training video to you to watch ahead of time before you come :)

Please RSVP by Thursday October 11 so we know how much legal mail to prep!

Feel free to reach out to Amanpreet at singhama@stanford.edu, Rebecca at rsadock@stanford.edu, Sarah at swishing@stanford.edu, or Stasia at areising@stanford.edu with any questions or concerns!
