Live on Zoom (we never record!)
Thursday, May 18, 7:30pm to 9:00pm Eastern
We all know the costs of stress: the frustration, exhaustion and general sense of being ground down or amped up beyond what is useful. But what changes when we ask ourselves what our stress responses are trying to do for us? In this 4 session workshop series, we'll explore the benefits of the 4 basic stress responses: fight, flight, freeze and tend and befriend.
We say many negative things about the flight response: running away is often seen as a sign you lack courage or resilience. But doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result is a good way to increase your stress and keep you stuck. Sometimes what you need is to break away from what you're doing so that you can find something better.
Thanks for registering for this event, We will email you the Zoom information and links to a handout one week before the event and send another reminder one day before the event.
