Thank you for your interest in participating in the Global Institute! The Global Institute will take place July 19-29, 2020 in Washington, DC. This application form will help you to reflect on why you are interested in participating in the program next summer, and it will also help our staff to get to know you better. The Global Institute is for youth who are currently in 9th, 10th, or 11th grade (2019-2020 school year).

The Global Institute is Kids4Peace’s flagship policy and advocacy program for teens from around the world. During tenintense days in Washington, DC, committed youth interact with senior government officials, discuss global issues, and learn skills to be public leaders for peace. The program culminates with Advocacy Day on Capitol Hill, where youth meet with dozens of congressional offices.

During the Global Institute, youth from Jerusalem, the USA, and elsewhere in the world form strong relationships, as they learn from the experiences of teens from other backgrounds who are equally committed to peace, justice, equity, and action.

We suggest that you compose the answers to longer questions in a word processing document, and then cut and paste them into this application form; this will help avoid lost work due to computer or internet crashes.
