The 3rd Annual Car Parade of Hope at South Miami Hospital is planned by ICU baby's team of Youth Ambassadors and invites other families with a connection to the NICU to join in!  It is an opportunity to reflect on your NICU journey, decorate your car, make signs, and join the ICU baby Team in an effort to lift the spirits of the families with a baby in the NICU of South Miami Hospital. 

The families and healthcare teams come down from the NICU and line the road in front of the hospital to enjoy the parade. When the parade has concluded, there is a lunch served for the families and gifts for them to take home. 

Kick off for car decorating begins in a nearby church parking lot at 12:00PM and the parade procession leaves at 1:00PM. The time is a beautiful opportunity to connect with the ICU baby Team and other local NICU families.

You will receive four (4) volunteer hours for the 12-2pm shift. There will be some prep work in order to decorate your car, like buying supplies and preparing signs. That time is accounted for in the extra two hours awarded in volunteer hours.
