For nearly one year our health department and frontline workers have mounted responses to the rapidly changing pandemic, natural disasters, and civil unrest. Most of these workers cannot take a break until the crisis ends. Because of the ever changing nature of the novel pandemic and political climate, those most visible on the front lines have been targets of hate mail and justified (but misplaced) frustration. Help support and fortify those irreplaceable frontline heroes with care packages and letters of hope. Packages and letters are delivered to frontline workers starting with the folks that operate the COVID-19 helpline (they are the most publicly accessible and get much negativity every day in the form of harassing callers, hate mail, and social media bullying). You can donation items like gift cards, treats, meats/cheese, yeti/traveler cups, coffee/tea, aromatherapy, or other self-care items. You can also Sponsor a Package with a monetary donation.
All packages will have a gift card included signed with the names of those that contributed.
