Camp William Hinds 2023 Staff Application
2023 Summer camp staffers will be expected to be available for the full camp season which runs from the week of 6/18 to 8/12 as well as the staff training which will be held on Saturday 5/27/23. All necessary employment paperwork must be completed prior to starting work. This includes a signed contract, W-4, Direct Deposit release, and I-9. You cannot begin work until these have been filled out and turned into Camp Administration.

Interviews will be set up for available weekends, you will be contacted for an interview date.

General Requirements
- All members of staff must be registered members of the BSA. Registration can be secured at time of hire. Registration with the BSA includes a criminal background check.
-Staff members must meet necessary standards of moral conduct. The Scout Oath and Scout Law are the living rules of our camp community. Staff members are expected to live up to these ideals.
-Staff is expected to wear the full field uniform of the BSA when applicable.  Staff will be given elements of uniform pertaining to that specific year (Hat, Bolo Tie, and Activity Uniform Shirt)
-Most staff interviews will take place on weekends, you will be expected to either come to Camp Hinds preferably, or interview over Zoom.
-Applicants should fill out form with full detail, and expect a response from the Camp Hinds Admins with an acknowledgement of their application being received, and be given a date of interview all in a timely fashion. 
-Please be sure to chose a second and third choice of position in case of first choice being filled.
