Outdoor Pop-Up Markets at The Hub

We hosting 8-10 vendors, Saturdays from 10:30-2:30pm

These small outdoor pop-up markets take place in our parking lot in front of the store.

We expect these markets to continue to be fantastic this fall and holiday season, as everyone shops local for their gift giving and home decor needs.

Where are we?

The Maker's Hub is located in central Durham, in a busy prime location - Hopkins St. and Consumers Dr. in Whitby, just minutes from the 401. We see 100+ visitors daily for curbside pickups, plus our shoppers, add in the road traffic on Hopkins and our our vendors promoting, and you have the making for a successful micro market.

----- C O V I D  &  C A N C E L A T I O N S -----

COVID SAFETY: To ensure everyone's safety and social distancing, each vendor will receive 2 parking spaces. We will be asking our vendors and shoppers to wear masks. Shoppers will be required to move through the market in one direction. Vendors are requested to have hand sanitizer available at their table. If a vendor (or those in direct contact with a vendor) are experiencing Covid symptoms and/or a positive diagnosis, they are required to cancel. A refund of 75% will be issued. Due to the nature of Covid, these rules may change at any time.

CANCELLED DUE TO COVID - Due to unforeseen Covid related circumstances, if The Maker's Hub has to cancel a market, a full refund (less processing fees) will be issued to vendors.

CANCELLED DUE TO WEATHER - If a market date is cancelled due to weather, TMH will do our best to find a suitable alternate date. If a 'rain date' cannot be secured a full refund (less processing fees) will be issued to vendors.

----- R E Q U I R E M E N T S -----

To be considered, products must have a creative, handmade element to their process.

Canadian-made only - to be ‘Canadian-made’ the final product must be finished/altered/completed and packaged in Canada.

Online brand, social media content and overall presence.

You must have a personal FB to join our group.

Applications are active for 3 months.

Must work in a Dinesafe approved kitchen and have business insurance.

*** BATH & BODY ***
Required to have business insurance.
