Compost Participation Sign-up Form
The Zephyr Cove Elementary School Parents Club is excited to continue our composting program! Participating families will collect food scraps at home, and will then dump the compost once per week at our composting bin on site. It is completely free to participating families and is funded by the ZCES Parents Club.

Participating families will receive:
* Free, weekly compost collection -- just bring your food scraps to the bin at GWHS at your convenience! We will send you the code to the lock on the bin.

Location:
* The compost bin is located at Whittell High School in the back, north-east corner by the bus barn.

How to collect your food scraps:
*You can use any bucket you have at home to collect your food scraps. Remember, FOOD ONLY!
*All/any type of food is allowed in the bin including meat, dairy, nuts, fruits, peels, processed foods, takeout, etc.

Note: Even if the item such as napkin, disposable silverware, etc. says it's compostable, it is not actually allowed for our program due to the type of composting. Again, FOOD ONLY in the bin.

Your participation in this project will serve as a valuable pilot program for residential composting needs for South Tahoe Refuse!
