CHASE eSports exists to help you Chase YOUR Dreams! Our goal is to help up-and-coming Apex Legends players make a name for themselves and take their experience to the next level. We aim to help not-yet-pro players achieve their goals; whether that be finding regular teammates, growing a streaming platform, or participating in events for cash!

IMPORTANT: We are restricting Top 100/Pro Players from participating and focusing on the up-and-comers. To provide a platform where non-pro players can showcase their skill level, have it broadcasted and create content for the community. For specific restrictions and to see if you qualify, please see below FAQ.

Tournament Format

Format: Custom server. 3 qualification matches and 3 matches in the finals.
Map: Current - WE Worlds Edge(Changes with the ALGS / GLL)
Qualification: 2 servers - Top 10 Teams from each server move to finals.
Finals: - Accumulate points over the course of 3 matches.

Point Distribution

At the end of each Match, Teams are awarded points for their placement and the Team’s total number of kills (“Match Score”). The points awarded in each Match are:

Team Captain Responsibilities

Each team must designate a team captain. The team captain has the following responsibilities:
- Must be in the discord
- The team captain is the only member of the team to register for the tournament.
- Only the team captain will be paid out if the team qualifies for a portion of the prize pool.
- The team captain must join the discord server given during the entry questions for this tournament
- The team captain will be the main point of contact for the team. They must provide their in-game origin username, Discord account, and email when registering for the tournament. They must be actively responding in discord to the admins.
- The team captain must be streaming, and have “CHASE Community Tournament” in their title.
- Team captains will receive the Server Codes in the discord at check-in. Make sure to be communicating actively in the Discord to ensure you make it into the server. After each match, there will be a 5 minute grace period to get your team into the next lobby so make sure to pay attention to the discord. The Server Codes will be posted in the discord.

Rules

- Registration will be locked at the start of the tournament. Make sure the team captain is registered on PayPal.
- This tournament will be played on an Apex Custom Server. (code will be sent out in the discord)
- One competitor from each Team is required to stream on Twitch and MUST enable save past broadcasts in Twitch settings.
- In the case of a tiebreaker, the official ALGS rule set will be enforced.

Cheating

It is forbidden to cheat, modify the game files, exploit bugs, and/or use any third-party application which would give an unfair advantage against other users.

All cheats are completely forbidden to use under any circumstance while playing in any event at CHASE eSports Tournaments. Using any cheat will result in bans and disqualifications. (ALGS rule set will be enforced)

Behavior and Sportsmanship

- Show respect to everyone involved in the tournament. This includes, but is not limited to players and staff.
- Treat everyone the same way as you would like to be treated yourself.
- Always show integrity while playing in every tournament, be honest and play fair.
- Do not use any discriminatory language, including but not limited to any language regarding ethnicity, nationality, race, gender, religion, sexual orientation or personal beliefs.
- Do not use any extreme foul language, including but not limited to excessive profanity or language that is graphically sexual, grotesque, or violent.
- Do not make threats of real-world violence or other intended harm to anyone involved in the tournament.
- Do not harass, stalk, or purposely do things to make someone else feel uncomfortable or threatened.
- Do not share personal information about yourself or other individuals.
- Do not engage in, request, arrange, or offer illegal activities or materials.
- Do not impersonate other individuals.
- Do not spam, be it in text or VOIP.
- Do not share your account, your account is for your use and your use alone. Do not grant access to your account to anyone else, and do not access anyone else’s account, even with their permission.

CHASE eSports reserves the right to, in special cases, override and/or remove, and/or add any rule stated above to guarantee fair play.

Payouts

All payouts will be done through PayPal. Team Captains must have a PayPal account in order to be paid out.

Prize pool breakdown
1st place team: $90
2nd place team: $40
3rd place team: $20

Bonus breakdown
In the finals, 1 player will be rewarded $25 for the most kills accumulated in 3 matches. You must have a PayPal account in order to be paid out.

FAQ
1) Who are the restrictions on Top 100/Pro Players ?
a. Big names come to mind such as; TSM, COL, CLG, NRG and etc. If you’ve successfully made it to the Finals for any big tournaments such as; ALGS & GLL, then you don’t qualify to register.

2) Why are you putting restrictions on Top 100/Pro Players?
a. CHASE’s Vision is to provide a platform for non-pro players alike to showcase their skill, broadcast it and create content for the community. Kindly give an opportunity for the vast majority of players who wants to compete in similar manners.  
b. No smurfing. We will validate and do background checks. If caught, your team will be disqualified and publicly announced for not abiding by the rules and trying to cheat the community intentionally for cash prizes. We take this very seriously.

3) Why are there only 3 Final Matches?
a. This is intentional. This will be our first tournament hosting and we specifically want a short, but smoothly ran tournament. We will use this tournament to gauge for improvements, feed-backs, staffing and go back to the drawing board to better serve the community for future tournaments.

4) Is there a minimum age needed to participate?
a. Minimum age required to participate is 16 years old.

5) How do I signup to play and receive my Tournament Payouts?

7) What are player travel requirements?
a. None!

8) What happens if I qualify to the next round?
a. You and your team will play in the Finals.
b. The finals consist of 3 matches.

9) How do I gain access to the private Tournament Channels in the discord?
a. You’ll need to message Head Admin Patt#0001 via discord.
b. He’ll grant you access to all the private tournament channels once he verifies your registration.

10) What happens if I become one of the top 3 placements after the tournament?
a. You and your team will be imbedded into the placement for this specific tournament to let everyone know.
b. You will receive your reward within 24 hours after the tournament has completed.

11) What happens if I won the tournament?
a. You and your team will earn the title of CHASE Tournament Winners.
b. You will be given the opportunity for interviews, social media posts, join the broadcasting team for a chat, and more.
