The Rochelle Park Community Camera is a new safety program instituted by the Rochelle Park Police Department. By simply registering, your home or business surveillance system with the Rochelle Park Police Department you can be an invaluable asset in solving crimes in your neighborhood.  If a crime occurs within your neighborhood, the Rochelle Park Police may contact you and request of copy of recent video footage.  This footage may help establish leads, identify suspects, and save valuable investigative time.

Your camera information will be registered with the police department. By doing so, the Rochelle Park Police Department will be able to easily map out the locations of cameras thoughout the town.  The Rochelle Park Community Camera program does not provide the Rochelle Park Police Department with direct access to your camera systems, registrations are strictly voluntary.  Residents and businesses will be contacted by the RPPD only if an incident occurs within their camera's coverage area, to assist law enforcement in investigations.
