Liberty Gulch Service Day on Azalea Hill
Volunteers needed for maintenance on Liberty Gulch Trail on White Hill - Care for the trails you love!

Saturday, April 6, 8:30 am - 2:00 pm

Trail work will entail the removal of small diameter Douglas-fir trees along the multi-use segment of the project. The District is currently working on constructing a retaining wall at Bolinas Fairfax Rd., building a number of bridges, and improving stream crossings along the trail corridor. Over the years Douglas-fir tree encroachment has overgrown the old ranching road and pruning is needed to open up the trail corridor to make it safe and enjoyable for multi-use access. The removal of Douglas-fir trees also helps to restore oak woodland and grassland habitat within the project area.
