THE CLASS:
The class is a three day beginners intensive that will give a fantastic introduction to Shibari, inspired from japanese and western rope bondage and tantra, with sensuality as the most distinguishing approach. You can sign up alone because during the class we will switch partners and get to practice both roles of tying and being tied.
The
class is for beginners, who have tied a little bit before, or have no
earlier experience.
The class can also fit you who feel a bit stuck in your practice and want a fresh start to refresh the basics and build connection and curiosity with your ropes.
The class is open for all genders, with a group of 8-12
people. I will aim to create a gender balanced group.

CONTENT:
In the classes we will study basic technique and go through different tying patterns for both upper and lower body as well as practice improvisation. During the weekend you will also be guided through exercises that focus on creating connection and depth. The deep connection is one of the biggest reasons I am interested in Shibari and therefore also a big part of my teachings.
We will swap partners between the exercises and practice with each other in the group.
Here are some of the things we will do:
- Study basic techniques, like the single column tie and no-domes
- Practice how to build connection and intimacy with a partner
- Work with our bodies and body awareness.
- Practice both improvisation and specific tying patterns
- Play with different themes like tempo,
tenderness, atmosphere and sensations like pain and soft touch.
- Have dialogues around topics like safety, communication, domination and submission.
- Meet in what is; being a beginner, laughter,
surrender, pleasure, curiosity and technicalities.

Price:
The cost is 1900-2400, including snacks and lunch both Saturday and Sunday.
I have chosen to have a sliding scale to be able to offer spots to people with different economic situations.
Choose
an amount on the scale that is possible for you to pay depending on
your income. Please pay full price if you have the possibility.
There is also a possibility for a limited number of people to
make a deal where the price can be reduced in exchange for some
practical help before and after the classes.

ABOUT MOLLY:
Molly S Lindau is an artist exploring sexuality, emotional health and growth through classes, studies and artistic work.
Her main focus at the moment is in the area of Shibari, Japanese rope bondage and ritualistic magic. The aspect of emotional growth and healing is at the core of her work and she believes that sexuality is one of the most powerful tools to access the creation of change and inner power.
Her way of tying is inspired by dance, contact improvisation, massage, meditation, bdsm and tantra. There is a focus on presence, sensuality and the deep contact between people, where the rope becomes a tool and a framework to experience one self and others.
