Perform at UIC SJP's Culture Night 
Interested in showing off your cultural dance in front of UIC students? Join UIC SJP's Culture Night: Rhythm and Resistance event and help end our Apartheid Week with an amazing show on March 3rd, 2023.

Our goal is to celebrate Palestinian cultural resistance in unison with several other cultures that help make up the student community at UIC, meaning you do not have to be Palestinian to participate! The event is scheduled to begin at 5:30 pm and the performance portion is scheduled for 5:45 pm. Dinner and a debka performance by Firket Al Azdeekah with a live performance from Saed Khoury and his band will follow!   .

Each performance will be allotted 5-8 minutes. Please specify the length of the performance.  *
Our emcee's will introduce the participants. Please write out an idea of how you or your group would like to be introduced. Please include the importance of your performance to the respective culture and how it is a form of cultural resistance. Keep introductions to 1-2 minutes in length.
