General Leadership Training July 2024 (hybrid)

MDS Project Leadership contribute their skills, time, and passion for making a difference in the lives of people affected by a disaster.  

Leadership Training will be held in person in Lititz, PA and on Zoom. Lodging will be nearby for those attending in person. All times listed below are Eastern Standard Time.

Leadership Training will begin Monday, July 29 at 12:00pm and conclude late with supper Wednesday, June 12. The registration deadline is June 7.

While attending the training, lodging and meals will in Lititz, PA will be covered by MDS. After completing the training, you may submit your travel expenses for reimbursement according to the MDS Long-Term Volunteer Travel Reimbursement Policy. If you are planning to arrive by air, please hold on booking flights. We will provide transportation to/from Harrisburg, PA (MDT).

Please note that our Leadership, Long-Term and RV volunteers are Christians who are active participants in a church and are in agreement with the shared convictions of MDS. The shared convictions are available upon request.

How do you plan to attend the training? *
Travel Plans: MDS offers transportation to and from the Harrisburg, PA (MDT) airport. Anyone arriving at other airports /stations will need to make their own transportation plans to Akron, PA. If you would like to car pool, please let us know if we can share your contact information with the other participants, if there are any from your area. After completing the training, MDS will reimburse you for airfare/or fuel cost and lodging according to the Long-Term Travel Reimbursement Policy. *

Have you served with either a US or Canadian MDS project or with your local MDS unit? If so, where, when and in what capacity?
You are welcome to bring a laptop or tablet to take notes, but it is not required.
