BCT Spring 2024 Saturday Classes

Our Saturday classes are open to children in 1st-12th grades who qualify for free or reduced lunch (family of 4 household income under $50k).  All classes will be held at BCT's studios in Gowanus at 540 President Street, Suite 1D, Brooklyn 11215.

Saturdays:
BCT will be offering classes on Saturdays in acting, singing, and dancing.
March 23-May 18

Students should come to all sessions in their age group and will also get lunch and free time.
1st-3rd graders: 11am-3:30pm 
4th-6th graders: 11am-5pm
7th grade and above: 11am-5pm

In the event that I or the others listed on my child's registration are not available, I give my permission to the caregiver to provide first aid for the child named above and to take the appropriate measures including contacting the emergency medical services (EMS) system and arranging for transportation to the nearest medical facility. *
RULES AND POLICIES:  Students are expected to attend all classes. Please notify Program Manager, Nicky Thompson-Martin at (917) 443-7112 as soon as possible if your child is going to be missing a class.    Students must work as ensemble members, respecting our faculty and fellow classmates. They must follow directions and try their best. *
RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT  (Read carefully before agreeing) We, at BCT Brooklyn Children’s Theatre,  Inc do everything we can to insure the safety of your children.  While we have rules that we ask your children to follow (such as: no running, no touching one another unless instructed to do so, no going upside down; ie: handstands, cartwheels, etc.), sometimes children forget and don’t follow these rules.  We always have at least one person on staff who is currently Red Cross certified in First Aid and/or CPR and will do the best she/he can to insure the well being of your children.  That being said, we ask that you acknowledge that freak accidents may occur.  By signing this agreement, you release BCT Brooklyn Children’s Theatre Inc of any responsibility pertaining to such accidents.  In consideration of being able to participate in any way in the musical theatre program, BCT Brooklyn Children’s Theatre Inc, the parents and/or legal guardian(s) of the minor participant named below agree:1. I/We fully understand and acknowledge that:(a) There are risks and dangers involved with any form of group activity that could result in bodily injury.(b)These risks and dangers may be caused by the action, inaction or negligence of the participant or the action, inaction or negligence of others in the program.(c)There may be other risks unknown to us or are not reasonably foreseeable at this time.2. I/We accept and assume such responsibility for the losses and/or damages following such injury, however caused while under the care of BCT Brooklyn Children’s Theatre Inc.3.  I/We hereby release, waive, discharge and covenant not to sue BCT Brooklyn Children’s Theatre Inc, including its board, teaching staff, and the owners of the space in which BCT Brooklyn Children’s Theatre Inc is taking place. I have read this release and waiver of liability, assumption of risk and indemnity agreement, fully understand its terms, understand that I have given up substantial rights by signing it, and have signed it freely and voluntarily without any inducement, assurance, or guarantee being made to me and intend my signature to be complete and unconditional release of all liability to the greatest extent allowed by law. *
