Management and Health and Safety
All drivers will be vetted personally by Paul Clarke prior to this event and matched to the appropriate machine which will be determined on their previous experience/knowledge.
At any time, Paul has the right if needed, to remove any operator who does not deem fit or adequate to be operating the machinery.
Strict health and Safety requirements will be in place for this event.
All operators must wear a Wheels at Wanaka Hi-Vis vest while in the Earth Moving Pit, which will be issued to operators prior to the event. The Hi-Vis will be numbered and you will be asked to return this at the conclusion of the event or you may purchase it for a cost of $20, Information on dates/times will be sent to you regarding the registration/vetting process for the Terra-cat display.
No operator/helper will be allowed to operate any heavy machinery unless this form is signed and returned to the above address.
SAFETY WEAR: Hard enclosed boots are mandatory in the operating arena and pits for operators.
