All peoples ages13 and up can serve at the Lord's Altar during the celebration of holy Mass as Ministers of the Word (Lectors). By proclaiming the Word of God at the Ambo (Pulpit), Lectors occupy a privileged place in the liturgical celebration. By the Lector's proclamation of the Word, their voice make present the Word of God who is living and active.
