Urban Expansion Turing Test

Can you beat the computer by recognizing the real urban expansion pattern?
The four maps in each of the questions below show a trajectory of urban expansion over 1975-2014 of an area in Europe.

Three of the maps are created by a model, and one is the actual urban expansion.

You are asked to guess which one is the actual growth trajectory.

Would you like to know more about the model? Read the open access papers in Computers, Environment and Urban Systems.  The first sets out the principles: https://doi.org/10.1016/j.compenvurbsys.2021.101689 . The second applies the model  across European countries:  https://doi.org/10.1016/j.compenvurbsys.2022.101892

Why do we call this a Turing test?  Well, we are pushing the concept a bit beyond the original meaning, but we like to see this as a test whether the computer is able to make a simulation so realistic it convinces a human observer.
