Environment Art Mastery Application
Please read the following carefully before applying!

The intention with the Master edition Discord group is to keep it small and intimate. The slots are currently closed, but every now and then I open exceptions if someone can really benefit from the course.

The Master edition is NOT a traditional mentorship program, in the sense that you will have a teacher teaching you step by step how to do things. The video course serves that function. The Master edition is a BOOTCAMP, a place where hard working people can share their progress, give and receive feedback, receive guidance when hitting roadblocks, and individualized help when needed (be it about environment art or career). It's like going to the Gym. The benefit you get out of it is directly proportional to how much effort you put, how many mentorship calls you attend, etc...

In a nutshell, it's an investment into your future.

Since I can't accept everyone who applies, I want to make it clear what are the points I take into consideration:

- Your skills: We have people from all skill levels, but they all have in common a passion for environment art. This is demonstrated by their portfolio. If you only have two or three Blender donuts, it's very hard to judge what can you actually do. If that's the case, it's better to start with the Standard/Advanced version first, before applying to the Master edition. I can tell right away when looking at someone's portfolio if they are a good fit for the server. Usually they are already good in some skill, but lacking in others. For example, they can model good models, but have trouble coming up with their own ideas. etc... The other type that does really well, are seasoned professionals who are looking to take the next step in their career. And lastly, we also have a few people from other professions (such as architects) that want to transition to environment art.

- Your work ethic: You are determined to making the best of your life and career, and will work hard to finish your projects no matter what. You understand that this is an investment in yourself, and to get the results you are looking for, things won't be easy.

- Your social attitude: We are looking for open-minded people who enjoy being part of a community and helping others.

If you would like to join, please fill the form. No need to write a bible on each question, just general thoughts.

Phew... that was quite a handful :) But don't get scared, it's meant to filter out the people who wouldn't get the best out of the course.

If this resonates with you, and you feel this is what you are seeking, I'm very much looking forward to hearing from you!

I will be in touch when slots open. If you don't hear from me after some time, no hard feelings! You can try again in a few months once you've added more works to your portfolio.

No matter what, I wish you the best luck in your career!

- Thiago
