Use this form to apply to participate in the research study "Butoh Dance As Intervention for Viewpoints Analysis", conducted by principle investigator, Jordan Rosin at Dell'Arte International on Tuesday, June 18, 2019. The purpose of the study is to see how training in Butoh Dance can change a performer’s ability to express themselves or become aware of the Viewpoints while watching others. Participants should be comfortable improvising physically and being video-recorded.

ELIGIBILITY
- Participants must be 18 years of age, or older on Tuesday, June 18.
- Participants must be able to read/write English.
- Participants must be available for the entire duration of the study on Tuesday, June 18, 10:00am - 12:00pm.
- Participants should self-identify as an actor, performer, or theatre artist, though no particular educational background or degree of formal training is required.
- No previous experience with either Viewpoints or Butoh Dance is necessary.
 
FINANCIAL INFORMATION
There is no cost to participate in this study and no financial compensation for participants. As part of the study, participants will receive a FREE 1-hour lesson in Butoh Dance / physical theatre led by principle investigator and physical theatre artist, Jordan Rosin.

DATES / DEADLINES
The deadline to apply is Monday, June 10 at 11:59pm PST.
Invited participants will be notified no later than Wednesday, June 12.
The study will take place on Tuesday, June 18, 10:00am - 12:00pm at Dell'Arte International in Blue Lake, California.
