As representatives of contingent employees (any full- or part-time employee ineligible for permanent/tenure appointment) for our union, UUP, we are conducting this brief (3 minute) survey to better understand the experiences and work conditions of contingents across the SUNY Geneseo campus. You may choose to keep your responses anonymous. Our hope is that this survey will (1) bring issues of immediate concern to our attention, and (2) give us insights to bring to the Statewide UUP Contingent Employment Committee meeting at the end of September, where we will be discussing the issues and concerns faced by contingent academic and professional employees at Geneseo and across the SUNY system.

Finally, we will be using this survey to shape our efforts to organize and advance the interests of contingent employees at Geneseo!
