Census Power Hour Phone Banking Interest Form
Hi there! I hope you and your loved ones are taking care.

Thank you for expressing interest in volunteering to make sure everyone, especially immigrant and working class populations are properly counted for this year's Census.

On Friday, August 21, APALA and the Gulf Coast ALF will join community groups to reach out to immigrant communities and workers in a nation-wide “Census Power Hour”, a massive hour of action calling to hard-to-count communities in Vietnamese, Chinese, Tagalog, Spanish, and as many other languages as possible to ensure that immigrants are not undercounted in this year’s census. With the pandemic and shortened Census enumeration period, working class and immigrant communities believe it is imperative now more than ever to be properly counted.

Everyone can lend a hand in making sure that our communities are counted. We are especially looking for bilingual speakers of any language to participate!
