PROOF OF INCOME
YOU ARE NOT REQUIRED TO SUBMIT PROOF OF INCOME, however, qualifying as low income will improve your chances of getting an incentive, as SNA prioritizes lower income families. It will also qualify you for a lower minimum contribution to your project.

HOW TO QUALIFY AS LOW INCOME

Your total household income must be at or below the levels listed in the Low Income Measure (see image below).
You must include all income earners in your household who are of legal age.
Get proof of income for each household income earner of legal age, and send it to the SNA Housing Coordinator: housing@spenceneighbourhood.org

The contractor must not be affiliated with you or your family in any way.
You will choose which of the two contractors you want to use.
It is your responsibility to determine who will be the best choice.

Do your research to ensure your chosen contractor does quality work:
- Ask friends, family, or coworkers if they used a contractor they were happy with
- Ask the contractor for a list of references.
- Ask the contractor if they have any certification in their field, and ask for proof of certification.
- You can research contractors online using the following tools:

You can also include the cost of equipment rentals.
You cannot claim the cost of labour if you are doing the work yourself, or if any friends or family members are helping you.
