USING A PROFESSIONAL CONTRACTOR
You must collect quotes/estimates from at least two professional contractors.
The contractor must not be affiliated with you or your family in any way.
You will choose which of the two contractors you want to use.
It is your responsibility to determine who will be the best choice.
Do your research to ensure your chosen contractor does quality work:
- Ask friends, family, or coworkers if they used a contractor they were happy with
- Ask the contractor for a list of references.
- Ask the contractor if they have any certification in their field, and ask for proof of certification.
- You can research contractors online using the following tools:

You must get quotes/estimates for the cost of materials from two different hardware stores.
You can also include the cost of equipment rentals.
You cannot claim the cost of labour if you are doing the work yourself, or if any friends or family members are helping you.
It is your responsibility to know what you are doing and take all safety precautions.
If the finished work appears unsatisfactory, SNA reserves the right to cancel your incentive.
