Youth Council Membership Application
We are reaching out to you about an exciting new program!  The League of Women Voters Maine (LWVME) is building a Youth Council (YC) which will be made up of a diverse group of young people from throughout the state of Maine. The YC members will be primarily high school age and will participate in a variety of activities to Get-Out-The-Vote (GOTV) to their peer group as well as have the opportunity to take on leadership roles to engage GenZ to be active participants in our democracy. Some of the GOTV activities include: registering voters, using social media and texting to communicate with peers, speaking to outside groups, recruiting members for the YC. The Youth Council is a non-partisan initiative. Please fill out this form if you'd like to participate!
