2020 National Team Development Program
The National Team Development Program (NTDP) is an extended pathway for elite high school players to be a part of the to the U.S. National Team program beyond our current U20, Senior, and Indoor teams. The NTDP allows US Lacrosse to build a pipeline of potential USA athletes to compete in elite competitions, while also creating an opportunity for lacrosse athletes around the country to be exposed to holistic, elite-level training and development, pillars of the National Team brand.

It is still our hope to move forward with the launch of the NTDP process for 2020. Because of the dynamic and fast-moving nature of the pandemic and the various state and local requirements, we are considering several contingencies with your safety as our number #1 priority. If conditions permit, would you consider having your son or daughter attend a Combine in OCTOBER at the US Lacrosse Headquarters and Training Facility in Sparks, MD with invitations being determined through a virtual application process? *
If conditions permit would you consider having your son or daughter attend a Combine in NOVEMBER at the US Lacrosse Headquarters and Training Facility in Sparks, MD with invitations being determined through a virtual application process? *
If there is only a virtual application, with the result of being named to an NTDP Pipeline Player Pool, and no in-person event, would you consider registerIng your son or daughter? (Clarification: a player would apply virtually and a USA Selection Committee would virtually evaluate and identify a select group as the top high school players in the country. These players would then be named to the 2020 NTDP Pipeline Player Pool. No U15 or U17 teams would be named and no in-person event would follow.) *
Given the situation, would you feel it to be more appropriate for US Lacrosse to postpone 2020 NTDP applications and resume in its normal process for 2021? (Clarification - the age range for eligibility would be expanded in 2021 to current older players so they would not age-out in 2021 and could participate again.) *
