Role Description: A Director on the Original Kids Board of Directors supports the mission and strategic objectives of the Original Kids Theatre Company and provides organizational oversight to the Company and its leadership team. The Board is accountable to OKTC members, community, funders and other stakeholders.
Scope and Time Commitment:
A Director is expected to hold a three-year term, which may be extended for a second consecutive term (total of 6 years).
A Director is expected to attend all regular Board meetings (held at 6:30pm on the 2nd Tuesday of each month for 1.5-2 hours at the OKTC Business Office), as well as other OKTC Board-related meetings or activities related to strategic planning, policy development, events or fundraising.
Basic Qualifications:
- Knowledge of the OKTC community & organization
- Commitment to the mission, strategic directions, and values of OKTC
- Commitment of time to meetings and other Board-related activities
- An openness to learning and coaching others
