As part of our commitment to uplifting all survivors, we are committed to uplifting any non-discriminatory and inclusive survivor-led organizations and collectives, whether or not they are led by NSN members or align entirely with the NSN's values.

Definition of survivor: Someone who:

- experienced force, fraud, or coercion in any form of adult labor, (including legal and criminalize trades, sexual and non-sexual labor);

- experienced force, fraud, or coercion in any form of labor as a minor; or

- was involved in the sex trades as a minor or was commercially sexually exploited as a child.

This definition does not include those who identify as "survivors of the sex trades" who do not have experience of force, fraud, coercion, or exploitation as a minor, as the NSN does not conflate consensual and trafficked commercial sex.

I have experience of human trafficking according to this clear definition.

My experience does not fit this definiton.

Definition of survivor-led: This organization: *

Was founded or co-founded by a survivor and still has a survivor in its highest leadership position (CEO/Executive Director)

Currently has over half of its paid senior leadership/director roles (CEO, COO, Executive Director, Associate Director, Program Director, etc.)
