Congratulations on achieving the rank of Life Scout, the next-to-last step on your Trail to Eagle.
When you are planning your Eagle Scout Service Project (aka “Eagle Project”), the project will usually require you to raise money, as they will typically involve the need to purchase materials and supplies along with providing other incidentals (even if just drinks or snacks).
In some cases, the people you are doing the project for (i.e., the beneficiary of the project) will offer to provide all or most of the materials, while in other cases providing these things yourself will need to be part of your project, and with that the need to figure out a fundraising plan.
To help you financially, the Friends of Troop 368, through the Casey Akira Murphy Eagle Project Assistance Program, can provide you with up to $250 toward the cost of carrying out your Eagle Scout Service Project.
