2022-2023 UWB/LETI Latino Leadership Initiative (LLI) Student Application - Deadline EXTENDED TO: November 10, 2022 (by 5pm)
Welcome to the LLI student application! We are so happy you are considering applying to this terrific program!

DESCRIPTION
This is a 5-month leadership program for Latinx-identified sophomores, juniors and seniors at UW Bothell. It  requires student participation in a service learning project, and meets weekly via Zoom on Wednesday evenings and via Zoom on 5 Saturday mornings from January through mid June 2023. The goals are to empower Latinx students to be civically-engaged, expose them to educational and career options, learn and apply multicultural leadership skills and increase identity consciousness and cultural competencies.

Sounds great, right? Yes, it is!

If you are one of the 15 selected candidates, you will have the opportunity to participate directly with the Latinx community in our area; we'll give you the tools to positively impact the lives of other young Latinx so you will be a role model!

BENEFITS:
All program expenses are covered by the Latino Education and Training Institute (LETI). LETI is a non-profit organization in Lynnwood, WA.
