I am certifying that all information, provided by me, is correct and that I agree to all Terms & Conditions stated.  I confirm that I understand the dangers associated with open water swimming, including the potential for personal injury, death and loss or damage of property; and agree to swim at my own risk and to waive liability and all rights of action against Ocean Breakers in any such event arising whilst, or consequent to, open water swimming at the venue howsoever caused throughout the 2021 swim season.  Nor will the aforementioned parties be liable for any actions of any spectators or other third parties. *
Required
1. I am capable of swimming 200m continuously without stopping, am physically fit and have no pre-existing medical conditions that would affect me swimming in open water.
2. I am aware of the potential exposure to hypothermia, jelly fish, weather changes and water currents during the clinic.
3. I will enter and exit the water at the designated point explained to me during the safety briefing.
4. I will wear a brightly coloured swim hat and tow float for visibility at all times in the water.
5. If not wearing a wetsuit, I understand the additional risk of cold and reduced buoyancy.
6. I will exit the venue immediately when asked to do so by the organisers.
7. If I get into difficulty, I will roll onto my back and signal for rescue by raising one arm in the air.
8. I have made the coaches aware of my medical conditions/allergies.
9. I will follow all the rules and orders from the coaches and their assisting personnel at the open water clinic designated venue.
10. I will enter and exit the water at the designated point within the time as stipulated by Ocean Breakers.
11. I understand the dangers associated with swimming in open water including the potential for serious personal injury, death and loss of property, and thereby agree to assume all associated risks.
12. I hereby waive any and all rights of action against Ocean Breakers, for all injuries and other actionable events, arising out of my participation in their open water swimming sessions.
13. Ocean Breakers will not be responsible for the loss of any of my personal valuables.
