Hidden Station is a visionary community art project led by the Bristol-based digital innovation studio
Zubr Curio and artists
Jayde Perkin and
David J. McMillan, brought to you by
Seed Sedgemoor and
Severnside Community Rail Partnership.
Jayde and David invite Bridgwater Railway Station users to help them create illustrated characters that reveal hidden stories about Bridgwater in an imaginative and playful way. The team at Curio will then create a very accessible Augmented Reality environment, so if you don’t normally do art or have little prior experience with AR you can still join in the fun.
This is where we need your help. Let’s breathe new life into this historic station!
Use this online form to submit your story or if you are free to drop into one of our in-person workshops, please come along on Sat, 25th March from 10am-4pm (Bridgwater Library) or on Tue, 28th March from 6pm-8pm (Bridgwater Townhall).
To experience the final eye-catching artworks and their ‘hidden stories’ in Augmented Reality join us for the opening at Bridgwater Railway Station in June 2023 (date to be announced) and follow our newsletter to hear about the latest news.
