READINGS with Alize Rozsnyai
The American Composers Forum, Philadelphia Chapter is pleased to announce an opportunity for Philadelphia area composers to work with the extraordinary soprano Alize Rozsnyai. Up to eight selected composers will receive 90mins of one-on-one workshopping time with Alize Rozsnyai and a recording of a reading of their work.

This opportunity is for:
Philadelphia area composers (your primary residence is within 50 miles of Philadelphia's City Hall)
Works that feature solo voice (soprano) up to 8 mins in duration (excerpts of longer works and works in progress are eligible). Works that include additional instruments are eligible, however only the voice part will be considered for workshopping. No additional instrumentalists will be present. Preference will be given to works not previously recorded or widely performed. Extended techniques are acceptable. Voice range should be ~G3-D6.
Composers of all ages, genres/styles and career points are encourage to apply
TO APPLY: applicants must fill out a short application form (link below) and provide a link to a PDF of their composition.
NOTIFICATIONS will be made by June 1, 2022. We anticipate this program taking place in early October 2022, and are hopeful (but can not guarantee) that the workshops can take place with the composer and performer in the same room (with masks and other safety protocols in place).
