NYSOMS is once again partnering with The Medical Society of the State of New York (MSSNY) for the Annual Physician Advocacy Day.

YOU MUST REGISTER IN ADVANCE. NYSOMS urges you to register for this event even if you are unsure of your attendance at this time. If you do not register then you will not receive the link to the day's activities. It is better to register now and then cancel if you need to.

The day will be broken up into 2 sessions:
-8:00-11:00 AM - Morning speakers, panel discussions with state and specialty medical societies, and key legislative topics discussed

-Afternoon Meetings-TBD- Opportunities to meet with legislators and their staff to discuss priority issues and education them about Osteopathic Medicine.

More details will be sent to you regarding time and how to join .  You would be participating in meetings set up by the county medical societies to meet with local legislators and their staff. This is an opportunity to discuss key priorities and provide information about osteopathic medicine. You will be in a group with other physicians and students and NYSOMS will prepare you by talking points.
