Project interviews are the
final step for a 4-H member to complete their project requirements. This is a great chance for the youth to share their knowledge, practice
interviewing, reflect on their experiences, and present themselves and their
accomplishments to a caring adult.
We would like the judges to
have some subject knowledge of the projects that they will be judging. We will
have a short 20-minute judge’s orientation before each session to go over the
judging forms and what to look for when conducting the interviews. We will have
breaks for refreshments for all interview judges.
Interview Judge Needs -
Animal Project Interview Judges: Thursday, July 10th (3:30pm - 8pm) and/or Friday, July 11th (3:30pm - 8pm)
- Judges will evaluate youth interview skills, knowledge of their project and reflection on their learning experience.
Indoor Project Interview and Exhibit Judges: Sunday, July 13th (11:30am - 5pm)
- Judges will review and score project exhibits
and evaluate their interview skills. Judges will award the
project a ribbon along with selecting the best of show.
- We anticipate having judges sign up for a shift during the day, once we know how many kids are participating.
Gallatin County 4-H thanks you for donating your time to make an impact on the youth members in our 4-H program. To show our appreciation, we will provide you with an admission ticket to the fair that can be used on any day from July 16th through July 20th.
