Southern Oregon Innovation Jam

Student innovators from community colleges and universities in Southern Oregon will join together and design solutions to some of the region’s most pressing problems on Saturday, Nov. 4 at CraterWorks Makerspace in Central Point.

Students will meet, form teams, brainstorm and devise solutions in the fast-paced, interactive innovation jam, advised by business leaders, innovators and educators from around the state, and guided by the prototyping methodologies of Design Thinking. This event also features a huddle for educators interested in promoting the benefits of innovation & entrepreneurship among Rogue Valley learners at 3pm, and a public showcase of student pitches and networking session at 4pm.
