Student innovators from community colleges and universities
in Southern Oregon will join together and design solutions to some of the
region’s most pressing problems on Saturday, Nov. 4 at CraterWorks Makerspace in
Central Point.
Students will meet, form teams, brainstorm and devise
solutions in the fast-paced, interactive innovation jam, advised by business
leaders, innovators and educators from around the state, and guided by the
prototyping methodologies of Design Thinking. This event also features a huddle for educators interested in promoting the benefits of innovation &
entrepreneurship among Rogue Valley learners at 3pm, and a public showcase of student pitches and networking session at 4pm.
