Borderlands is funded by Arts Council England as part of the national Creative People and Places programme. This is a major opportunity for creative growth, focused in Middlesbrough and Redcar & Cleveland and will be co-designed with local stakeholders to ensure the impact is felt across the boroughs. The project will focus on significantly increasing the number of local people taking part in cultural activity, as well as embedding culture as a part of our approach to health, wellbeing, education and place shaping. It’s about getting together; talking, sharing, experiencing new things and making exciting things happen in our communities.
