We are so excited to be taking our Intermediate kids to Whakapapa in August. To help make it as much of a success as possible, it is really important that the children have the correct gear for skiing and the cold!
When we go skiing, Skifields offers rental of ski jackets and ski pants for a cost of $30 for the two days. Please indicate below if these are required. This is not charged if your child brings their own skiwear.
The rental of skis, poles, snowboard, boots and helmets are included in the package cost provided by Whakapapa Skifields. We do ask that children don't bring their own skis, poles and snowboards as space is limited and we cannot guarantee they will be transported and stored appropriately. Children are welcome to being their own helmet and boots but unfortunately, we do not get a discount if a child decides to bring their own. Please indicate below the additional equipment your child will need to hire.
We also need to get an idea of your child's level of skiing/snowboarding capability. Skifields categorise these into 5 levels. On the form, please select the level which most describes your child's ability.
