Welcome to the first step in your child's path to elementary school at Francis Scott Key! Fill out this form to pre-register your child for a seat in FSK's 2021-2022 school year.
FOR PRE-K APPLICANTS: all forms completed by 11:59pm on Saturday 3/13 will be entered into our lottery to determine our initial waitlist. After that, all forms received on and after Sunday 3/14 will be added to our existing waitlist in the order in which they're received. More information about our waitlisting process can be found at
wearefsk.org/enrollmentFOR KINDERGARTEN THROUGH 5TH GRADE APPLICANTS: if your child is "zoned" for FSK, they will automatically have a seat in their grade next fall. If they are zoned for a different City School, Principal Basmajian will be in touch in the coming weeks or months about space in their grade. Prospective 1st through 5th grade families are also encouraged to reach out to him directly at
cbasmajian@bcps.k12.md.us to discuss changing schools.
PLEASE FILL OUT THIS FORM COMPLETELY AND ACCURATELY. Individual families may be audited to verify their information as needed. Failure to provide accurate information on this form may result in your child being placed at the end of their grade's waitlist.
Note that completing this form is NOT a guarantee of enrollment in the Fall. FSK will let you know when/if you are eligible to complete the next enrollment step, which will take place in the late spring or summer depending on your child's grade. At that time, you'll need to fill out City Schools' official forms and submit additional documentation electronically (we will be in touch about these). Enrollment is not finalized until all forms and documents are submitted to Baltimore City Schools, and FSK acknowledges your child's enrollment.
