UCSC International Family Orientation Registration, Fall 2024
On behalf of Global Engagement, we extend a warm welcome to all our parents, guardians, and family members of our new international students. Welcome to UC Santa Cruz!

International Family Orientation is a one-day, in-person program that takes place concurrently during the International Student Orientation (Frosh), hosted by International Student Services and Programs. We invite you to join us to learn more about what the UC Santa Cruz experience is like and to meet university staff.

Time: 10:00 - 16:00
Location: Humanities Lecture Hall, to be confirmed
Program Highlights:
  • Remarks from Vice Provost and Dean of Undergraduate Education and Global Engagement
  • International Student Services and Programs Introduction
  • Overview of UCSC College System, Advising, and Academics
  • Campus Resources including Safety and Business Services
  • Family Luncheon
  • Campus Tour
  • Resource Fair with banks, cell phone companies, etc. with your student
Every family only needs to register once under their student's name. There is no need for each individual in a party to register individually.
