Wednesday 5th and Friday 7th July Industrial Action    - Critical Worker sign up
You will be aware by now that school is closed to students in Year 7, 8 ,9 and 10 due to the industrial action by members of the NEU. 
The school will remain open for students in Year 11 and idetified vulnerable students. 

We also wish to accommodate as many as we safely can, children of critical workers where alternative provision is not available.

The Department for Education identify Critical workers as:
• Frontline health and social care staff
• Childcare, teaching staff and social workers
• Those essential to running the justice system
• Emergency response services such as police, paramedics and people who work for government agencies
• Those involved in provision of key goods – including food production/veterinary medicine
• Ministry of defence and National Crime Agency
• People working for water/gas/nuclear suppliers/industry, waste disposal and/or public transport
• People working in financial or postal sectors
