Wheat Ridge High School Gifted and Talented Shadowing Day Survey 2023-2024
PARENTS/GUARDIANS:  
This form is designed for parents to submit a request for their child(ren) to shadow.  Collaborating and getting input from the student is encouraged.  We do not want students to complete this request without parent involvement. 

Please fill out this survey to give information for the shadowing day so we can make a personalized and highly effective shadow day schedule for your student.  Shadowing students will have a full day of experiencing classes at WRHS, which enable them to see all 4 core classes and three electives, one of which is GT.  Incoming Freshman, will have an orientation and a tour of the school on their first day in August with the LINK Crew (11th and 12th grade mentors.) If your student shadows on a Monday, they'll get to meet Bellini our GT Center "Thera-poodle."  We do not do shadows on Wednesday - Friday due to block schedules and we want shadows to get the full experience of a day of classes in high school.

The WRHS GT Program is designed for students who have previous ALPs coming in to high school. If you have a student who has not previously been or is not currently identified as gifted, they may need to complete testing in order to get into the GT Center before next school year. Please indicate if your student is identified as gifted. *
