Life happens, our kid's activities happen, but it will take a village for this override to succeed. The purpose of those who volunteer for this list is to be able to call to action small pockets of volunteers who can help distribute information within their smallest of communities/neighborhoods. There is no commitment whatsoever by filling out this form, but we will make it as easy as possible to provide easy ways to share information and bring awareness to this upcoming election. We are working toward June special election. The mission of the "light volunteers" is to get the word out about the massive deficit to Franklin's operating budget, and to alert Parents/Guardians of children in Franklin Public Schools about the cuts to education that will result as well as the impact it will have to our emergency services and other services we value like our senior center and our public library.
