Form to register for qualifying stages of the Tetris.com Tryhards World Championship. Please fill this out if you plan to attempt to qualify. Email addresses will not be recorded.
The tournament format begins with a qualification stage where you play for 1 hour and take the average of the top 2 scores you achieve during that time to make your qualification score. Also when qualifying, you must say when you are starting your qualification period, then play your games when recording (strongly preferably with a clock on-screen if not streamed), and then upload the gameplay within an hour after finishing the qualifier. Alternatively if you dont have a good way to screen record then you can join qualification sessions which are overseen by tournament moderators. The top 32 qualifying players enter a world cup style group stage with 16 players moving on to a single elimination bracket, with best of 3s for the rounds of 16 and 8, and best of 5s for the semifinals and finals, with the top 8 being streamed live on a currently undecided weekend date after December 5th (we will probably pick from form results, though it may be subject to change when we get our set of 8 players).
The qualification stage runs from November 2st through November 15th (if you see this form near the end of these dates, don't worry! You can still qualify at no disadvantage). The group stage will run from November 16th through the 28th. The top 16 will be played from November 29th through December 6th.
